The Free Reformed Church of Mundijong was instituted on December 6, 2009. Although we are a relatively ‘new’ congregation, many of our members have a long association with the federation of Free Reformed Churches of Australia. This federation of churches was established in 1951 by migrants who came from the Netherlands to make Australia their new homeland, taking with them their reformed heritage. Although many of our members have a Dutch heritage and Dutch names, the majority of our members are either naturalised or born Australians, and our congregation includes people of diverse cultural heritage.
Our congregation also includes a full spectrum of age groups, from seniors to newborns. We are a family oriented congregation, and it is common for three generations of family to be represented in our membership. When health and strength prevail, sometimes even four generations are represented!
